Before EMOR Blue

The garage door headaches this ends.

01

The right spring wasn't on the truck

The tech measures the wire size, the inside diameter, the length, and the wind, and finds the truck carries everything but that one. Now it's a second trip, a second dispatch, and a homeowner who waited all day for nothing.

02

Same-day calls pile up by noon

A car stuck behind a door that won't lift can't wait until Thursday. When four of those land before lunch, the whiteboard falls apart and the dispatcher is calling techs to ask where they are.

03

Replace-or-repair is decided in the driveway

A twenty-year-old opener with a stripped gear is a repair ticket or a new-opener sale, and the homeowner decides in the next five minutes. If the tech has to call the office for a price, the moment passes.

Built for garage door

One system, the whole garage door business.

Springs by wire size on every truck

Stock each truck with springs, rollers, cables, and openers, and pull them by barcode scan as they go on the door. The office sees what every truck carries, and the reorder report flags what is running low before it costs a second trip.

Same-day dispatch that keeps up

The stuck-car call goes on the drag-and-drop board beside every tech's open jobs, and you drop it on whoever is closest to done. It reaches that tech's phone in seconds, while the homeowner is still on the line.

One spring, both, or the rebuild, priced on the spot

The tech prices it from your price book on the phone, with up to three options. Replace the broken spring, replace both springs, or do the full rebuild with new springs, rollers, cables, and end bearings. The homeowner picks one and signs before the tech leaves the driveway.

Invoice before the truck pulls away

The tech cycles the door, checks the balance, and closes the job from the phone. The invoice is ready before the tools are back on the truck. Text the homeowner the link, and, once the shop turns on card payments, they pay from it in the driveway and the office sees it paid instead of chasing a check next week.

Garage Door software FAQ

Questions, answered.

Can EMOR Blue track garage door springs on each truck?

Yes. Each truck has its own stock list, separate from the warehouse. Torsion springs by wire size and length, rollers, cables, hinges, and openers are counted per truck. The tech scans each part off the truck as it goes on the door, and the count is right that night without anyone walking the truck. If a wire size is running low, the reorder report says so before the next stuck-door call needs it.

Can my tech quote a new opener in the driveway?

Yes. For a stripped gear, the tech prices the gear kit and the new opener from your price book on the phone, no call to the office. A third option, a new opener and door together, fits on the same quote. The homeowner picks one and signs in the driveway. Anything over the tech's pricing limit waits on office approval.

How does it handle same-day garage door calls?

Garage door work is mostly same-day, so the board is built to be reshuffled at 11 a.m. and again at 2. Every tech's shift and open jobs are on it, so the dispatcher sees whose morning is about to open up and slides the stuck-car call in there. The tech gets the change on their phone, not in a text they may not read. A live GPS map of the trucks is on the roadmap; today the board shows who is assigned where, not where the truck is right now.

Does it keep the door's history for the next call?

Yes. Springs come in pairs, and the second one usually lets go a year or two after the first. When that call comes, the tech opens the customer and sees the last visit, which spring went in, what was quoted, and what was paid. Job photos of the door and opener are on the roadmap.
